Patriotic Tablescape

Looking for a way to show off your American Pride in your Summer Tablescape? Well I’m here to help! I’m sharing all of my tips and as many sources as possible in today’s post to help you recreate this patriotic look on a budget!

PLACE SETTING

When decorating for any season, I like to reuse and repurpose as many pieces as possible to keep the spending to a minimum. When choosing pieces for Christmas Decor, I try to find timeless pieces like these red striped bowls by Hearth and Hand for Target that would work for other Holidays like Valentine’s Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day and anything else! Sadly, these exact bowls aren’t available but these are similar in style and price point. The red stripe adds the perfect touch to carry the theme into the place setting.

I also reused some of my Faux Cedar Christmas Wreaths from Hobby Lobby in the center of the plates to incorporate some natural elements and tie in the green from my Boxwood Topiary. These Faux Boxwood Wreaths are a similar substitution if you don’t have any on hand. Fresh cut greens from your yard would be nice (and free) to use!

I love the simplicity and vintage style of these Farmhouse White Dinner Plates from Crate and Barrel! I use them in so many of my Tablescapes because they’re so classic! And my other go-to in almost every Tablescape is this Arlo Flatware set by Better Homes and Gardens. These come in multiple colors and are super affordable! I’m also a sucker for vintage glassware and these Wexford goblets are my favorite!! These are always available on Facebook Marketplace or thrift stores if you want to grab a set for yourself.

Our United States of America Est. 1776 Vintage Script Napkins complete the Tablescape! I used white but these are also available in Natural Cotton.

DINING ROOM DEOCR

I’m constantly moving things around and my thrifted black Windsor chairs ended up here in the dining room paired with my White Metal Stackable Dining Chairs. I know mixing styles is not for everyone but I love the mix of vintage and modern in the same space!

I used our Handmade Solid White Canvas Tablerunner with Small American Flags in bottles for a simple Centerpiece. I also used a larger 3’x5’ Cotton American Flag by Valley Forge Flags hung on the wall behind my vintage windows for a more dramatic look.

So with a few simple flags and some left over Christmas decor (shhh don’t tell Santa!) our dining room is ready to celebrate with red, white and blue all Summer!! Hope that helps answer all of your questions! If you need any other sources or tips you can email me via the “Contact Us” tab on the website.
