Missed out on the Fall Leaf Stems all over social media or looking for a budget friendly garland with a big impact? This super easy DIY Fall Leaf Garland is just for you!
I wanted to keep things simple in my living room while transitioning to Fall and while brainstorming for some uses for my large law book collection! Since black and white are great colors transition into the Falloween Season I wanted to incorporate some easy crafts with book pages! I shared my decoupage book page pumpkins in my last post and you can check it out here in case you missed it!
This garland is super simple! First, I tore a few pages out of the book, placed the template (see below) on the page and began cutting. Since the pages are thin, I was able to cut several out at once!
Once I had the shaped cut out, I used a single hole punch just below the stem to add a hole then threaded with jute twine I already had on hand! I grossly overestimated how many leaves I would need and ended up cutting out way too many! For reference, my garland has 20 leaves. I then added a nail to my mantel and hung the garland finishing off each end with a jute bow! And that's it! Super easy and FREE Fall Mantel Garland!
I made a YouTube Video of the process here and shared a Reel on Instagram that you can see here. I'd love to see the garland if you try it so please tag me on social media!
